Today has been one of those rare days that feels divinely orchestrated — where every encounter, every decision, and every small moment flow together with grace and meaning.
This morning, I attended the Charlotte Creative Initiative’s quarterly gathering, a space created for artists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to share wisdom, stories, and support. From the moment I walked in, I felt an overwhelming sense of belonging — as if I was being welcomed into a creative family I didn’t even know I had been missing.
When it came time to introduce myself, I spoke from the heart. I told the group that I was new to Charlotte, that I was here to make connections, to form genuine friendships, and to share my art with the world. My words weren’t rehearsed; they came straight from my soul. And somehow, they touched the entire room. I saw tears, nods, and heartfelt smiles — proof that vulnerability truly does open the door to authentic connection.
Among the many beautiful souls I met, two women stood out. One was from Los Angeles, who’s been in Charlotte long enough to understand its creative heartbeat and promised to show me around. The other was from New York, an author who self-published her first book last year. She offered to walk me through her process, sharing the steps she took and the lessons she learned. I could feel divine alignment weaving through these encounters — the kind of synchronicity that confirms you’re walking the right path.
After the gathering, I went to pick up my new car, and that moment carried such symbolic energy. This wasn’t just about signing papers and driving off the lot — it was about claiming a new chapter of my life. As I sat behind the wheel for the first time, I felt a wave of gratitude and safety wash over me. It was as if God was whispering, “You are free now. You are protected. You’re ready to move forward.” I know this car will carry me to places and opportunities beyond what I can currently imagine — new art events, collaborations, and sacred moments of growth.
When I got home, the energy settled into something softer and even more sacred. I made myself a warm cup of tea, wrapped in the gentle chill of an early autumn afternoon, and sat on my patio with Duke snuggled into my lap. The air smelled like fallen leaves and fresh beginnings. I could feel peace all around me — the kind that only comes after following your intuition and taking inspired action.
Inside, my studio and office space wait for their final touches. I’ve been rearranging and cleansing the space, making it a reflection of who I am becoming: grounded, inspired, and ready. I can feel new creative energy flowing in, preparing me for what’s to come. Tomorrow, I’ll be stepping into another milestone — selling my art at an event here in Charlotte. It feels monumental. A declaration to the Universe that I am here, fully, and ready to share my gifts.
Later tonight, Milla and I will go out for frozen yogurt in the new car — our own little celebration of new beginnings. These are the moments that remind me how blessed I am. After all the transitions, heartbreaks, and leaps of faith, I am finally arriving in a life that feels like home.
Every part of today has whispered the same truth: You are guided. You are safe. You are aligned.
This is just the beginning — and I can feel that the next chapter will be nothing short of extraordinary.
