🕊️ The Unveiling: When I Stopped Sharing Myself

🕊️ The Unveiling: When I Stopped Sharing Myself

There comes a moment in every woman’s life when she looks in the mirror and says, “No more.”

No more giving myself away to those who don’t see me.

No more sharing sacred parts of me with people who haven’t earned my trust.

No more abandoning myself in the name of love.

This is my unveiling.

I remember clearly the moment I told my second husband:

“Please, let’s not do anything crazy. I don’t want to be shared.”

That was the first time I ever spoke my sacred boundary aloud.

Not as a request, but as a declaration.

🤍 A Chapter of Survival, Not Soulmates

I met William in 2006, and from the moment we came together, we were inseparable.

We survived a lot—parenting, addiction recovery, loss, and emotional strain. But what we had wasn’t the kind of love that sees you to your bones. It was a partnership built on trying to keep things together, not a connection rooted in soul truth.

He came into my life at a time when I needed help—help raising Gabby, navigating a divorce, holding it all as a mother of three. And I will always honor that chapter. We helped each other grow. We were each other’s mirrors. But in our 40s, we came to realize that holding on was only hurting us more.

Letting go was the most loving thing we could do.

🖤 The Final Collapse

But the true breaking point came after William—with Kyle.

Kyle didn’t break me with his hands.

He broke me with his words—sharp, manipulative, calculated.

He promised love, but delivered control.

He saw my light and tried to own it.

He made me feel that being loved meant being invisible—being his.

There was a night I fell to the floor in tears.

I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. I didn’t want to be here anymore.

Not because of him… but because I couldn’t carry the weight of being unseen one more time.

And then something sacred whispered,

“Not like this. You are meant for more.”

That whisper saved me.

That whisper was me.

🌅 The Sacred Yes

That was the beginning of my return.

Of saying yes to myself.

Of choosing life.

Of choosing to heal.

Of stopping the cycle of over-giving, over-loving, over-sacrificing.

I stopped sharing myself with those who couldn’t hold my soul.

I stopped trying to be what others needed—and became who I needed.

This is The Unveiling.

Not a breakdown.

A breakthrough.

💫 Reflections from the Divine Muse

I share this not as a victim, but as a woman who rose from the ashes of her own forgetting.

A woman who now stands in the light of her truth, no longer afraid of her past, her power, or her voice.

If you’ve ever given too much, stayed too long, or lost yourself in someone else’s shadow…

You are not alone.

You are worthy of a sacred unveiling of your own.

Let your voice rise.

Let your body be yours again.

Let your soul speak.

You were never meant to be shared—you were meant to be cherished.
